The Ralph M. Parsons Laboratory for Water Resources and Environmental Engineering is a 5-story, 57,000 Sf facility that contains faculty and student offices, wet and dry labs, rowing tank, numerous flumes and a wave generating tank in a massive 2-story bay.

Working closely with the Construction Manager and MIT to prioritize the most effective use of funds which would have the maximum, long-term impact, selective renovations were evaluated and budgeted. The scope of the work selected included upgraded MEP/FP systems, the addition of a 5600 SF infill space to create new offices and meeting facilities. Research facilities for microbiology, biology, chemistry, hydrodynamic and computational research were redesigned.
